Pathways in Technology Early College High School (P-TECH) brings together the best elements of high school, college, and the professional world.

Offered at Longmont High School, TrojanTECH is a model that allows students to earn a high school diploma, as well as a no-cost associate degree focusing on Business from Front Range Community College. This program includes significant mentorship and internship opportunities with our industry partners, giving students a head start on their careers after completing the program. Students enroll in 9th grade and complete the program in 4-6 years.

Preparing Students for 21st Century Careers

  • Longmont High’s P-TECH will focus on a Business pathway, providing a foundation for careers in related fields.
  • Students in P-TECH will graduate with a high school diploma and an associate degree from Front Range Community College.
  • P-TECH students will also receive mentorship and internship opportunities with the City of Longmont, Longmont Chamber of Commerce, Longmont Downtown Development Authority, Longmont Economic Development Partnership, and the Latino Chamber of Commerce of Boulder County.

Applications are Due: December 19, 2025. We will continue to accept applications on a rolling admissions basis until all available spaces are filled. Complete this online application and submit the supporting documents as soon as possible for priority consideration. 

Please share this link with two current teachers or one current teacher and a non-family member who can speak to the applicant’s ability to work and learn as a team and to build relationships with peers, mentors, and community. These references are due December 19th.

We will be notifying students and parents by the week of January 5 – 9, 2026.
