Graduation Requirements

The Board of Education sets the graduation requirements for students in all SVVSD schools. Below is a summary to give you the basic information, not the full policy or requirements.

Class of 2021+

Minimum of 24.5 total credits

4 credits of English

3 credits of Science

3 credits of Math (Algebra 1 or higher)

3 credits of Social Studies (World, US History, US Government)

2 credits of Physical Education (can only waive up to 1.0 credit)

.5 credits Health

.5 credits Fine Arts

.5 credits Practical Arts

.5 credits of Financial Literacy

7.5 credits of electives (all courses above and beyond in any of the above categories count as electives)
