The Trojan Yearbook is a student run publication that works in conjunction with Herff Jones.  Yearbook is open to students in grades 9-12 who demonstrate strong writing skills, the ability to work as a member of a team, are responsible in their ability to meet deadlines, and have excellent attendance.  Staff members at Longmont High School have the opportunity to help design and produce almost every facet of the book each year.  Students have the opportunity to learn digital photography, graphic design, and desktop publishing skills as a part of the yearbook class.  High standards of journalism and contemporary design are expected.  Students with prior experience or exceptional skills are considered for positions as editors and section heads.  There is an application process that must be completed in full for students to be considered for this course. Yearbook is repeatable and considered a Fine Arts Elective.
