Halloween is Wednesday, Oct. 31. If you plan to wear a costume, you must follow the following guidelines or you will be asked to remove your costume:
- Costumes that violate the Student Dress Code Policy are not permitted.
- Masks or simulated blood are not permitted.
- Makeup and/or face paint should not cover the student’s face in a manner that makes the student unrecognizable.
- No simulated weapons of any sort are permitted, including, but not limited to, toy or facsimile guns, other toy weapons like knives, swords, bats, etc.
- Costumes that are overly graphic, promote violence are not acceptable.
- Costumes that otherwise might logically be assumed to be offensive to others are not acceptable.
- Costumes that are sexually suggestive and would otherwise violate the school’s dress code are not appropriate. Body suits are not allowed.
- Costumes should not include items with sound effects, lights, or other components that would disrupt the classroom learning environment.
- Costumes must have an appropriate theme.
- No costumes with drug or alcohol related references or advertisements.
