Think back to when you were a student, back-to-school shopping, finding your classroom, and the exciting lessons that would soon fill your day. The first day of school jitters that were calmed by the friendly, welcoming face, and celebrating the “ah ha” moments when you finally figured out how to solve the problem. Then there was the time in kindergarten, when you went to the restroom but couldn’t remember the way back to your classroom. As panic set in, that friendly face walked around the corner and they knew exactly where your classroom was.

Please join us as Medical & BioScience Academy students present posters showcasing their senior year internship experiences and capstone projects. The poster session format will be conducted as an open house event.
Brandon Staple is one of 100 students (out of 1200 applicants) in the country who received an Emperor Science Award this year. He will be spending several weeks this summer working alongside a cancer researcher on a research project.
The Medical & BioScience Academy (MBSA) at Longmont High School is now accepting applications from current 8th graders for fall 2016 enrollment in the MBSA program. Students who are interested in the health sciences, biotechnology, sports medicine, and allied health fields are encouraged to apply. Please download the full application instructions here.

Longmont High School band students are a little spacey these days.
This year the school's marching band has themed its halftime show around space exploration and NASA's Apollo program. The show is titled "Earth to the Moon" and incorporates not just space-age instrumental sounds, but sounds from some of the Apollo missions as well.
Thursday marks the creation of the U.S. Constitution back on September 17th, 1787. Longmont High students will be provided numerous opportunities to interact with "The Supreme Law of the Land", including listening to guest speakers from the Colorado University law program as well as examining and analyzing the Bill of Rights.
