Advanced Placement Statistics

Advanced Placement Statistics acquaints students with major concepts and tools for collecting, analyzing, and drawing conclusions from data. Students will frequently work on projects involving the hands-on gathering and analysis of real world data. Computers and calculators will allow students to focus deeply on the concepts involved in statistics. This course is recommended for students who plan to major in college in the areas of science, mathematics engineering, psychology, sociology, health science and business and it prepares students for the Advanced Placement examination in Statistics.
