Today, November 11, due to inclement weather, all St. Vrain Valley Schools will start 2.5 hours later than our normal schedule. When the district remains open, but you believe that weather conditions in your specific area are problematic for transporting your student to school, please feel free to contact your school’s attendance clerk to obtain an excused absence for your student. If weather conditions cause you to keep your student at home, they will be able to make up any missed schoolwork without penalty. On April 11, 2017, all sophomores and juniors in Colorado will be taking the PSAT 10 and SAT at their home schools. The good news? It’s free! AND you don’t have to do a thing to register. But wait … there’s more! Millions of dollars in scholarships (yes, millions…) are tied to both assessments, so even if you’re not 100% sure about your after-high-school plans, still use this time to prepare just in case - they’re there anyways, might as well get the most you can out of it!
