High School's football players have made it a tradition to spend a day during summer camp focusing on improving the community instead of their own athletic skills.
Their efforts recently garnered the attention of NFL Films, which documented this year's "day of service" for a possible television spot on NBC during Sunday's Broncos game. NFL Films also is planning a compilation showcasing football teams from across the country to air before or during the Super Bowl.
"It's great to really come together as a team and focus on the community and helping out people who really need it," said senior Logan Green, a Trojans linebacker. "As football players, we're pretty blessed to do what we do, and we should always think about giving back to those who are less fortunate."
