LHS Students Win Junior Achievement Stock Market Challenge

If you’re looking for some financial advice, ask one of these sophomores: Owen Robbins, Zachary Shutes, JT Sears, Jackson Staver, Lucy Matheson, and Emma Kittler. These LHS High School of Business Students competed in the Junior Achievement Stock Market Challenge at the Charles Schwab campus in Lone Tree. Teams of six from schools across the state including 5A schools Monarch, Broomfield, and Grand View were each given $500,000 to invest and grow for 60 simulated days. The winning LHS team grew their investment over 90% to $952,000 landing them in 1st place out of 42 teams!
