Dance Fitness

Students will increase their flexibility, strength, coordination, and sense of movement through the study and performance of dance. History and cultural background of the style of Dance are covered. Throughout the semester students will explore yoga, ballet, hip-hop, and jazz. No prior dance experi-ence is necessary. Students will be required to choreograph and perform the different dances for the class and as well as others for the final. This course may be taken ONE time per school year.
