Creative Engineering 1: Robotics

A robot is a machine capable of carrying out a complex series of actions automatically.  This course will help students apply fundamentals of math, science, electronics and programming to create such a machine.  Students will create robots that use sensors to see the environment.  Within the robot a computer will process that information and control mechanical devices to complete the desired actions.  This course will also introduce the student to Computational Thinking, a problem-solving process that uses logic and abstraction to take advantage of the processing power of computing devices.
