Introduces the fundamental principles of drawing for animation, students will learn skills and techniques to be applied to the development of animation sequences. Introduces the basic terminology, concepts, and principles of animation. Students learn historical perspective, current technologies, applications of animation, basic principles of 2D and 3D animation, and application of animation to the web. Students will be introduced to the techniques, technology, and theory of raster (bitmapped) and vector digital images in web, multimedia, digital video, and animation applications.
