Advanced Placement Environmental Science

This course will provide students with the scientific concepts and methodologies required to understand the interrelationships of the natural world, to identify and analyze environmental problems both natural and human-made, to evaluate the risks associated with these problems, and to examine alternative solutions for resolving and/or preventing them. The preceding themes provide the foundation for this course. This course prepares students for the Environmental Science Advanced Placement Examination. Students may choose to participate in the CU Succeed Gold Program and earn 4 college semester credits for Environmental Science.
